Today is THE day! I'm not waiting until Jan to start my New Year resolutions! I've never been really thin but mostly had confidence and felt comfortable in my own skin. This year, with a lot of transitions, I lost 20lbs and then gained 25lbs {back} and I feel gross, super UNsex-ay all the time, tired and I've started having back pain (which I just know I can attribute to my weight). Yes I want to lose weight for the vain reasons, but I need to feel HEALTHY and OK in my own skin again. I've done ww, Atkins, medifast, calorie counting but have never stuck to anything long enough. Today is the day I'm making a complete LIFESTYLE change! I'm soooo over it...

Good luck girl, you can do it :-)
ReplyDeleteWishing you all the luck in the world!
ReplyDeleteYou go girl! I'm proud that you are starting before the Christmas holidays! Those snacks get me every time... Ill have to use you as my inspiration to stay away from all the chocolate! (As I put down my M&M's)
ReplyDeleteGood luck! Best thing to do is start with one thing a week to focus on and that will help you change your habits and won't be a fad. Wishin you the best!
ReplyDeleteHey girl! I am doing a link up called NEW YEARS NOW and would love for you to join in!
ReplyDeleteI know you can do it. Just take it one step at a time. What's helped me make working out/getting healthy easier is finding an activity I enjoy and working on getting better at said activity. For me, I found out that I enjoyed running (go figure). Once I started focusing on getting better at it (signing myself up for different distances, focusing on my pace per mile, whatever), it was easier to stick to instead of the way I used to workout, which was pop in a Jillian Michaels DVD only to jump off the bandwagon a few weeks later. And working at an activity you enjoy makes you actually look forward to working out AND all the good/vain stuff will improve (weight, health, etc.).
ReplyDeleteYou can do it!! The lifestyle change is the best option! That's what I did in January and feel so much healthier! I'm excited for you!
ReplyDeleteYou got this!
