I love...

...this guy
{waiting to board our plane to Vegas}
This past weekend, I {yet again} hurt my back and somehow have a pinched nerve. You guys, it is one of the most painful things I have experienced, ever. I've been whiny, cranky and have cried. I can't sit, sleep, walk, without pain. I could tell there were times Jason got annoyed {he says he wasn't} because he and I handle very pain differently.

It was his last weekend before the Spring semester starts and I become a "law-school widow" and of course, he will be busy with work, class and studying and I am sure the last thing he wanted to deal with was a whiny ass wife who was an invalid this weekend.

But put up with me did. We did get a few things done {including a trip to Ikea to finish some furniture/organization ideas we had {needed!!}} and while I sit here lying on the couch with Icy Hot on my back, hot tea in hand and my laptop pillow {seriously, how sex-ay do I sound right now?!}, Jason is building the LAST piece of furniture for us.
{Ginormous desk (TWSS); one piece down}

Oh...and our tree is still up; I did get the decorations down at least. Please tell me we aren't the only ones with a tree up?! I beg of you...

Hoping your weekend was much better than mine...

XOXO,
Nichole

  1. Feel better! A pinched nerve is no joke. I hope it goes away soon. Although, if you visited us here, you could just lie outside in the snow. I'm sure your pain would subside. Lol Also, I'm pretty sure my in-laws have that desk. They LOVE it. Feel better soon!

  3. Yuck, that sounds way too painful. Hope you are on the mend. IKEA = amazing everything! Enjoy the new desk.

  4. The *only* reason our tree is down is because I'm already freaking out about moving (months from now) and wanted the Christmas decor packed away and ready to go. Otherwise, I was shooting for April this year :)

    I hope your back feels better!

  6. Ouch that sounds so painful! I hope you feel better soon!

    Our tree came down right away because of the new furniture. But if it weren't for that, who knows, it very well still could be up!
