Book Club Friday!

It's been a while since I have linked up with Heather and Katie for Book Club Friday and I am glad to be back!

This week I read:

Marian Caldwell is a thirty-six year old television producer, living her dream in New York City. With a fulfilling career and satisfying relationship, she has convinced everyone, including herself, that her life is just as she wants it to be. But one night, Marian answers a knock on the door . . . only to find Kirby Rose, an eighteen-year-old girl with a key to a past that Marian thought she had sealed off forever. From the moment Kirby appears on her doorstep, Marian’s perfectly constructed world—and her very identity—will be shaken to its core, resurrecting ghosts and memories of a passionate young love affair that threaten everything that has come to define her.

Like all of the other novels by Emily Griffin, I loved this one as well. It was a little predictable for me, but I loved it nonetheless and the ending kind of sets it up that maybe there could be another book with the same characters like she's done with her other books. I'd love to see where Marian ends up, as well as Kirby...

What have you read lately?!

XOXO,
Nichole

  5. I've only read Something Borrowed by Emily Griffin, and I really liked it. I hope to read the follow-up at some point. I just finished reading Dracula. It actually was very good! Not boring at all! I think it might be the only vampire lit that I love.
